Born in 1991. Based in Kyoto, Japan.
Working as a stage director since 2016. Member of the art collective “RETRONYM.” He creates and presents performances, video works and texts both inside and outside of theaters, with motifs based on the human psyche and experiences. Taking the introduction of theatrical elements into the
actual relationships between people, places, and environments as a starting point, he develops a diverse range of activities that are not limited to the production of works. In recent years, I
have been working on artworks and projects based on fieldwork on graves in the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, and research in psychiatric and elderly care facilities. He has also
participated as an actor and assistant director in works by Takuya Murakawa and Kuro Tanino. 2024 ACY Artist Fellows.
